  • Do I need proper hiking/walking boots?

Appropriate walking boots or shoes are recommended over sneakers for slippery surfaces, walking over rocks and sand. We also recommend you pack a pair of sandals as some tours will involve walking through water such as Tunnel Creek in the Kimberly.

If you have special dietary requirements, please inform us before departure to allow us enough time to inform the various properties we will be staying at. We cannot guarantee that all properties will be able to accommodate your needs but we will try our best.

  • For tours that include pitching my own tent, do I need to bring my own sleeping bag and linen?

No, Outback Discovery will supply the tent, sleeping bag and pillow. For those who have not pitched a tent before, your Tour Manager and Driver will be there to assist you. The new experience will be part of the fun.
